Do you think the price will get lower than this before Christmas?

I bought the old version of that last year and I believe I got it for about $35 from Kohl's on a special discount online deal, but it did have some extras with it (extra car and guy I think). The one at Sears is the new version and that seems like a decent price. If Kohl's has it, they might run a better deal based on what you get with it, but I don't know how much lower in price you would get it.

I think my Walmart still has the old version "on clearance" for $36 (lower and wider, rather than taller and narrow), with a couple of extra bad guys. It was $44 last year I think.

ETA: and of course my son thinks he should have the new version too!

edit: I may just grab it at this price. I think it may come down to this point but I'm not sure how much lower...*maybe* $5 the most. It does say $54.99 retail

Doh! I should have gone ahead last night. It's up to 39.99 this morning.

Too bad its back up again! I think that's a great price, and would have totally bought it. There's always the chance it will go a little lower, but I think that would be very minimally lower.

Looks like there's free shipping on toy orders $49 or more, if you don't have the pick-up option in your area.

My son wants this sooo bad. He is getting a used one from his cousins though. We are having a hand-me-down Christmas for all but the oldest boys, since they are all 2 years apart.
