Is this too "baby-ish" for a 2.5 yr old?

I've seen posts on this Apptivity (http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-Laugh-Learn-Apptivity-Case/dp/B004UU9W78/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1321287118&sr=1-1-fkmr1) case from FP. DS will be 2.5 at Christmas, and DH and I have decided to let him use our iTouch as a techie learning device instead of buying an Innotap or a LeapPad, since we both have iPhones. I like the design overall of this case, but is it too baby-ish for a 2.5 year old? The iTouch is already in an Otterbox case, and while it's fine, I keep going back and forth with getting this. Thoughts?

I think as long as you have it in a good case you are fine. The FP case looks like it's made for really young toddlers. DD is 2.5 and I wouldn't buy it. HTH!
