Here's hoping you can all tolerate yet another "help me pick outfits" thread. The family is getting our picture taken this Saturday. The girls are wearing these dresses from Carters with cream tights and drk brown shoes.

I'm wearing this short sleeve sweater in orange.

I'm trying to decide if I should wear camel pants or chocolate brown and also no clue what to have DH wear. He has: khaki pants (light and dark), jeans (dark), light and dark blue oxfords, orange oxford, white oxford with lt blue and brown stripes, light blue vneck sweater (fine gauge) and chocolate brown vneck sweater (fine gauge).

He's thinking light khaki's with striped oxford and drk brown sweater. He doesn't want to wear the orange shirt, even if it's just a pop of color from the collar. But I'm afraid if he doesn't then the picture will scream "look wendibird's in orange!" and I'll stand out too much. The girls dresses have such nice little detail of color that I think the orange or blue are nice to coordinate with.

How big are the stripes? I urge people to avoid stripes, but really REALLY avoid any small stripes or you get moire ( not as big of an issue if it's under a sweater but still)

Personally, I'd go with white, brown, and orange but leave out the blue. He can wear anything he wants as long as it's white, brown, or orange :)

I don't know where you're having your photos done. Indoors won't matter, but if you'll be outside and possibly on the ground then you should probably wear the darker of your two pant choices.

The stripes on DH's shirt are medium-ish. Definitely not a fine stripe. We are taking the pics indoors at a studio.
