I am thinking of getting DSs walkie talkies. Can you suggest a good one? Be nice if they really worked and can be dropped.

I have these real ones on DS' wishlist. Good reviews and not too pricey.

I bought Ds1 some a few years ago and just bought him regular ones made for adults b/c the kiddie ones are garbage and get horrible reviews. We bought Motorola brand for $20-$30.

DS1 has the Lego walkie talkies (http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Blue-LG13000-Walkie-Talkies/dp/B002L6I9ZY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1321387086&sr=8-1)for 1.5 years now and they work surprisingly well. Clear enough to work well and they've been dropped many times. I didn't expect them to be as good as they are, but they are.

Good to know! I have those on DS's list.

DS1 got some from Home Depot or Lowe's a number of years ago, and they have held up great. Definitely don't get "toy" walkie talkies, but it sounds like you already are aware of that.
