How do I take a screenshot on my Mac?

There are several ways to do it. DH likes to use the program Grab. I like to just hit command Shift 3 and the file goes on my desktop. HTH

i like to use command + shift + 4 , which brings up a crosshair to select the area i want to capture (bc usually i don't want to capture the whole screen, saves me the trouble of having to crop later)
