For the bottoms of the pans for carrot cake?

I have nothing against waxed paper, but I DO resent having to go to the grocery store for the 4th time in the last two days. However if it is going to affect the quality of the finished product, I will just go. Ugh. What do you think?

No, just make sure you grease (with solid shortening or softened butter) the pans generously and flour them (tap out any excess flour).

Thanks for your response. I realized I needed one more thing, (SHOCK! I am so disorganized) so I went ahead and bought it. Cakes are in the oven!
