I have been unable to complete 2 lightning deals. :( Check out is slow and I keep getting error messages. Aaaack.
Customer service will call me in about 10 minutes or so.

I never received a call so I tried calling them. After 10+ minute wait, disconnected. So much for my efficient shopping streak today.

It's slow for me but working.
I'm not doing lightning deals, though.

It's awful. I was bake to get through on one deal but not another one all because of checkout errors. I'm done trying, too frustrating.

Amazon is getting slammed, I think it's the XBOX/Kinect deals.
This is really the first online Black Friday and it seems like most companies weren't prepared for it, server-wise.

I was able to get through to CS and received a credit for the value of the lightening deal price (for me a total of $10). The hold time was about 11 minutes x2 for me, so I just put my phone on speaker and went about my business. Amazon is upgrading their servers now (great timing, eh?). I should receive an email when the issue is resolved.

I lost two different deals today! I would get all the way to the end and get this "oops" message from them. I have never experienced stuff like this from Amazon before. I did not think to call CS. I was really sad I did not get one item.
