I love HA LJ's but can't afford to pay full price and we've stuck out finding what we need for DS1 at the recent sales. I figured I'd find him something at B&M stores but can't find a darn thing!

I'm looking for:

Snug fitting (no flame retardants)
No characters
Nice fabric

Where should I look? I saw some at Gap, but they were a but $$ still and had skulls, etc...not what I'm after. He's only 5, and a "young" 5 at that. I tried Kohls but found nothing snug fitting in a 5T, going to the big kid sizes it was all characters and pretty flimsy fabric.

I like Hatley as well. They don't have flame retardants and are snug fitting and soft. They're spendy as well, but they have sales and deals from time to time that make their prices much more palatable. http://www.hatleystore.com/default.aspx?STID=US

Here's the link with the deals for the rest of the T-giving weekend: http://www.hatleystore.com/department.aspx?DeptId=37&STID=US

Lands End has some nice ones that are snug fit and as soft as HA LJs. If you check their sales regularly, they often sell them at a good discount.

Costco has really nice organic cotton snug fitting pjs in the $12 or so range. We have been buying them for a few years and really like them. They have pretty nice designs. My daughter is currently in 5T so they definitely have that size, but I, am not sure how high they go after that.

Costco has great thick cotton jammies, as noted by azazela. They run small, so I would size up. They wash really well. Ds1 wears a seven in them.

The Children's Place has nice soft cotton PJs that are almost as good as Hanna's IMO. They often have coupons and are generally inexpensive.
