Darda set under the tree-- set up?

Since DS1 was 2 we've done a new geotrax set under the Christmas Tree. Well Geotrax has lost favor and really we don't need any more. I am considering a Darda set set up under the tree. Would this look "cool" from Santa?

Dh builds elaborate scences in our living room for every Christmas and one year he incorporated the Darda track. He had a few stuffed animals holding the cars and then another one with a flag. It was cute and I think it was a great idea because then Ds1 could start playing with it right away (he was too young to be into the building aspect at that point).
