Recommend a Wireless Printer

Can you recommend a wireless printer that would work for us? Our primary computer is a Macbook. We have an ancient PC in our Den that is hooked up to an ancient printer, but we currently can't print from our Mac. We never use the PC unless we need to print something. My parents are looking for Hanukkah/Christmas gifts for us, and I thought this might be a good idea, but I'd like to point them in the right direction. I'd like one that is also a scanner.

We went with the cheapest option cnet reccomended. Have not been disappointed.

Not a scanner but we have a photo printer for that which was a gift.

Don't get an HP Photosmart.
We have that one- it was a hand me down and it is completely temperamental. It prints only when it wants to. Sometimes it connects, sometimes it doesn't. So frustrating!

Epson Artisan...works wirelessly with my Macbook Pro. Very nice customer service. Beautiful photos; however, you have to use Epson photo paper to get outstanding photo results.

Do you have iPhones? I would def find one compatible w iPhone printing. I believe there are limited printers available for this.

Why not get an airport express and a normal USB printer? You can share a printer over the express.Eta: I'd avoid HP all- in-ones, I hate my parents'. Scanning is painfully slow and software sucks for macs.
