Send to school or no?

DD was super happy all day yesterday. We all had a later (for us) dinner of Mexican food at a restaurant, then had a semi-curvy hour drive back home. She was starting to whine a bit - saying her tummy was sleepy - but I didn't think much of it. Put her to bed and she got sick - one time vomit- an hour later.
No fever, no other symptoms. Slept through the night.

If all is well when she wakes, would you send her to preschool?

Nope. I wait at least 24 hours after vomitting to send kids to school.

if she was happy and cheerful I'd send her. curvy road mexican food makes me feel icky

She's probably fine but I really like to wait 24 hours with vomiting. Not to be ominous, but there are some bugs that seem to come and go over several days. They can seem fine, but it might come back. Hopefully NOT though!

I would under those circumstances. I usually follow the 24 hour rule but when it really seems like a one off, not associated with illness but circumstance, I don't.
