I'm reluctant to switch from regular pasta to whole grain bc I LOVE pasta.

I am very conscious about what I eat. The main rule that I follow is to eat real food.....not fake or processed. Not to say I'm perfect, hardly!!! But that is what I strive for.

If someone can recommend a delish whole grain pasta, I would def make the switch!!!

My favorite is bionaturae pasta--here is a link to it on Amazon and there are reviews of it:

I think Trader Joe's organic WW pasta is really good. It is quite reasonable too @ $1.39/lb. Do you have a TJ's near you?

:yeahthat: I don't eat pasta but when I did we used bionaturae. Our co-op grocery carried it. WFs has it as well I think.

I'm back to report on the bionaturae pasta. It was great! We had the spaghetti with regular ole' marinara and meatballs. I was so pleased. None of that grainy, starchy taste/texture.

Thanks so much for the recommendations!! Now I'll try some of the other shapes.....like fusilli or penne.

Yay!

Just thought I would add a note about switching to ww pasta. If you are hesitant to try it, or try it and don't like it, try again with one of the thinner noodles - I started with spaghettini and then once I got used to that, I tried some of the bigger/thicker noodles. I still don't care for the fusili/rotini etc in ww, but do eat them. Our 'go to' pasta is the ww spaghettini.

I won't give you any brand recs, though, as I am in Canada and we probably have different brands. :)

Enjoy!

In one of my cooking magazines (Saveur, maybe?) they did a blind taste testing of multiple WW pastas by some prominent NYC chefs and Trader Joes won hands down, and was by far the cheapest!
