Switching from Android to iOS?

Thinking of checking out the iPhone hype. For those of you who switched, was it hard giving up the swype feature on the Android? I can't imagine actually having to type on a touchscreen again (so lazy and spoiled, right?).

If Apple would make an iPhone with a 4" screen I could possibly consider trying it out again - but I think I'd miss my widgets too much honestly. Plus I like to tinker and customize my phone and unless you JB an iPhone there's no real way to customize it. That always made me crazy when we had the old 3GS's.

Plus with the release of the Galaxy Nexus on VZW within the next week or so - there's not another phone out right now I'd consider over that.

We recently switched to an iMac and while I love it I am not sold on the iPhone. As BillK said...the screen is small. I made my decision by going into an Apple store and trying them out. If the next iPhone has a bigger screen I will reconsider for sure. Swipe is nice..I have to agree.
