Barbie VW for 18 mo old?

I impulsively bought the Barbie VW on Black Friday from Kohl's because it was less than $20. My daughter will be 18 mos by Christmas. Is that too young for this toy? She enjoys playing with her bigger brother's cars and trucks.

Also, roughly at what age do kids start to enjoy playing with dolls like Barbie (as opposed to baby dolls)?

Personally, I think that if you expect more than her just pushing it around, then she is too young for it. Around here, 4-5 seems to be the entry age for Barbie. DD is 4.5 and I didn't get the VW specifically because I think it will frustrate her to try and squeeze Barbie into it. I bought the open-top convertible instead (came with a Barbie for $14.99 at Aldi).
