I am looking for a new idea - besides food and gift cards - to give to my kids' teachers this year. Has anyone found anything fun they want to share with us?

TIA!

I am giving these - - you look at her auto trash to get the fabric pattern you want and then put that in the note. I have five teachers for DS alone this year so we are going smaller. If he just had one teacher I might pair it with something. People always comment to me that they actually use these.

I bought a pair for myself, and I'm giving a pair to Jack's teacher with a gift card inside! I LOVE these mittens.

Can I self promote? :o

I have wristlets and luggage tags in my shop... I can also do checkbook covers in super pretty fabrics. :D I have a ton of fabric at home to choose from. I've also done little zippered pouches. I just don't have them all in the shop right now because I've been focusing on packaging for photography, which has been the most popular thing in my shop.

Anyway I hope it's OK to post this: http://www.etsy.com/shop/HollowGlen

I'm making snow man kits (12 of them) for family friends who helped out when my DH was in the hospital this summer. I looked at a couple of them on etsy, but couldn't find exactly what I wanted, so I'm making them myself. My plan is to include the following in a cute tin with a laminated "instruction sheet" for the perfect snowman:

Top Hat ($3.50 from Windy City Novelties)
1 Red Scarf (Simple no-sew scarf made red fleece fabric)
1 Pair Black Gloves ($1/pair ones from Target)
Carrot Nose (got M&D carrots from Amazon ($1/each) that are super realistic and should withstand the snow)
2 Black Eyes (Painted wooden doll head beads from Michaels mounted on dowels)
5 Black "Stones" for Mouth (5 smaller beads mounted on dowels)
3 Green Buttons (Wooden Button Shaped Beads mounted on dowels)
1 Corn Cob Pipe (Made from a Wooden bell shaped bead and a dowel)

In total, I'll probably spend ~$20 (including the tin)...the ones from etsy and other places were in the $30 range and just didn't have exactly what I wanted.

I got ideas from a couple of different places including:

I'll try to remember to post pictures afterwards if anyone's interested...
