I was browsing some of the toys on Amazon and saw a beyblade for $5.29. I know some people on this board are looking for these, so here's the link:

That's a steal! When I was looking, the best deal I could get was Buy 2, Get the 3rd for free at TRU on Black Friday. It was $8.99 each, so even with the 3rd free, it ended up being $6 each. I only lucked out because I needed more than 3.

It's down to $4.89 now!

I finally pulled the trigger! DS2 who is just 2 1/2 specifically said he wants two Beyblades for Christmas! He's been obsessed with DS1's since he was one and is really good at using them! He already has one, but he's constantly losing it and DS1 doesn't want to let him use any of his! They're normally $8.99, so this is a great price! I got another one at Target last week for the same price.

I just got one for $4.89 as well. DS got his first Beyblades for his recent 8th birthday. He'd be excited to get another one. Thanks for all the Bargain posts I am slowly but surely getting done with shopping for New Year presents for DS, and on a cheap, too :).

$4.89 is a great price, I think. This gives me hope that Amazon will come through with some good deals now . . . . or is this wishful thinking?

They also have bey blades at Target for $4.99. It only comes with the top..there is no ripper which is fine if the child already has other bey blades.

What exactly does this do? I have no idea what they are. Would they make a good option to replace goody bags for 5 and above kids?

Are girls interested in this too or its only for boys?

Yes, boys love these. 5 and up is perfect. They are geared more towards boys than girls. My daughter has no interest in them and the boys can't get enough (ages 5 & 7)
