Fewer Amazon deals this year or am I missing them?

If i remember correctly, last year there were a TON of great toy deals at Amazon. I was able to stock up my gift closet and got lots of great deals.
This year, I got nothing. Am I just missing them?

I don't think they've really gotten started yet. I checked my Amazon order history and I placed my first deal order around December 3rd, but really things got crazy around December 14th-ish. I think things are just slowly building up. They want to see what they can get people to buy at full price before they start trying to see what else they can convince you to shell out for. :)
