Does anyone know if Home Innovations train set is compatible with Thomas trains? Selling on 1 sale a day: http://1saleaday.com/family/
It seems like a great deal!
Thanks!

I have no idea, but that is a cute set! Hopefully someone knows if they are compatible or not.

*usually* most brands of wooden track are compatible w/ other brands of wooden track. Sometimes there are quirks (like certain pieces don't always fit perfectly together, or if you look at something like the ikea set, taller trains won't be able to fit under the underpass).

No experience w/ this set, but the above is my personal experience. Ikea, M&D, Thomas, Brio, etc. wooden trains are usually fairly (not always 100 percent perfect, but very usable together) compatible.

Thank you, that was very helpful! I actually don't have any railroad pieces at all, just thomas trains. We are s-l-o-w-l-y building up a stash ;)

Did you see the Maxim set (http://www.meijer.com/s/maxim-61-piece-train-set-with-suspension-bridge/_/R-191504) at Meijer someone posted in another thread. There was a free ship code - give me a minute and I'll see if I can find it.

ETA: Free ship code was: Toys
not sure if it's still valid.
