I have several pairs of tall boots I love for my skinny jeans and leggings, but they aren't comfortable to wear under other kinds of pants. So I am looking for pair of shorter boots that I can wear with my boot cut jeans and cords.

I want something cute but comfortable to wear on an everyday basis for errands and chasing kids - nothing too dressy or with too much of a heel. Hopefully not too pricey and it would be a plus if they were semi-warm.

Anyone have any that they love?

I just got these last week:

So far I am really happy with them. I love the taupe color - it goes with everything. They are really comfy, light, and have a low heel, so they are very easy to walk in. The leather is soft so no breaking in period, unlike my Frye boots. They look good under my boot cut jeans.

For the $$ I definitely recommend them!

I got these at DSW on clearance (though mine were labeled Matisse): http://www.dsw.com/shoe/coconuts+bobby+boot?prodId=229748&productRef=SEARCH

They've become my daily shoe! I love them. They fit best under my flared jeans, but are fine under my boot cuts, too. And over leggings and skinny jeans. Great all-around!

OK, I also just got these from DSW on clearance for around ~50: http://www.dsw.com/shoe/kelly+.and.+katie+celine+bootie?prodId=229054&brand=300191&isBrand=y&categoryName=Women's%20Shoes. I had a skirt and leggings on when I tried them, and I loved the look. They're short enough and narrow enough that they'll work great with bootcuts, too. I meant to only look for tall boots, but these were so comfy that I couldn't leave them behind.

I need to step away from the shoe store...! :o

I just got these from dsw with a $20 off coupon. They are very comfortable and look equally fine with jeans or dressier pants.

I also got these in butterscotch from target on clearance

They aren't flat but are surprisingly comfy and easy to walk in

If it's cold out but not too wet or snowy, nothing beats my emus, from amazon's dotd last yr. They are probably a bit "young" for this 35yo mama of 6 but I don't really care. They feel like slippers and I could wear them all day!
