Attn: Christian Moms - Blessing of Baby Jesus

Did you have a blessing of the Baby Jesus of your nativity sets growing up? I told my son about this tonight and he took his F-P Baby Jesus to the priest tonight and asked for it to be blessed (nice prayer, not a just the sign of the cross.) It was sweet, but no one seems to know about this.

I have a vague recollection of doing this in 2nd grade CCD... everyone bringing in their family's nativity Baby Jesus and having the priest come in to bless them all... hm.
Odd the memories that pop up when prompted, isn't it? :)
