Saw this on Slickdeals and it is KILLING me because I've wanted one forever, but am about to be unempoyed.... hope this helps someone.

Williams Sonoma has the vitamix 200 blender (same as 5200) on sale for $450. Code SAVENOW gets you 20% off so it would be $360+tax. Free shipping.

If you also want the dry blade, it's being sold in stores right now for $50 (down from $144). If you order total is $500 the SAVENOW code becomes 25% off, meaning the VitaMix 200 + dry blade would be $375+tax. Great price. You'd have to call a store to see if they have one & will give you the deal.

Kills me, too, since DH bought himself one less than a month ago and paid full price, of course (we couldn't find any deals at the time)... at least a local business got the business. :)

I think you're right. Last time they were at mine I remember seeing $398 and change or something along those lines. So this would still be a better deal.

Thanks OP, the blender I got for DH last Christmas is having issues after a year of use, so we're thinking we might spring for a Vitamix this time.

does costco's normally come with the dry blade?

how is willaim sonoma's return policy... compared to costco's?

The deal I saw didn't but they had a couple more expensive options available so maybe one of those did. I know the package they sell online comes with all three blade options (large wet, small wet and dry) but it's $650.

I think I paid 375 at Costco plus ax. When I registered mine online it gave me the option to extend the warranty 3 yrs or a free dry blade. I got the dry
