My mom wants to get one for the baby so I told her I'd look for a deal. Please let me know if you're aware of one. Also, is there a particular model I should look for?

Thanks!

The RF walker wagon is awesome for the 6-24 month set. Keep your eyes peeled on amazon.com - it should go on sale before the holidays! I got mine for $55 on amazon.com, but I think some have paid as little as $40-45.

Thanks for posting OP. I'm looking for one to give to DD for her first birthday. I've been watching the prices but they haven't come down much for the holidays. I'm also not sure which model to get so hopefully others will chime in. I currently have my eye on this one: http://www.amazon.com/Radio-Flyer-Classic-Walker-Wagon/dp/B00005AWB5/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1323731184&sr=8-14 but not sure if there are better ones out there.

This is a fantastic wagon!

OP are you asking about a walker wagon like above or a wagon for outdoor use to pull your little one in?

I snagged this one (http://www.amazon.com/Radio-Flyer-All-Terrain-Steel-Wagon/dp/B00000K1VS/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1323733385&sr=1-1) last year around this time when amazon dropped the price to $80. My girls love it, but it's big. definitely an outdoor toy.

Oh, I guess I was thinking of the kind where you pull them around. Maybe I'll do a camelcamelcamel alert for that all terrain one since our street's are bumpy. Or is it overkill?

A friend also suggested maybe getting a wagon that had a cover on it for the hot Texas sun...? Has anyone found that to be a nice feature?

My DC LOVES LOVES LOVES the classic wagon posted above! I have even seen 5yr olds come and play with it is a good toy that will last long enough.

There was a recent deal on Yoyo for I think 40-50% off which would have made the price 45-50 (cannot recall since I paid full price on it some time back :()
So keep watching!

I'm curious, what's the appeal of the walker wagon? My little girl is almost 14 months old and walks well. I'm sure she'd have pushing stuff around in the wagon for a little while but I guess I can't imagine her using it that much.

For a 14 month old who is already walking, it wouldn't be my first choice of a push toy. We got one before DS2 was walking and it was awesome as a first walker because it's so stable. Both DS still use it now, but they're really into (and fight over) the M&D shopping cart. I think they find the walker wagon a little frustrating at this point because the front wheels don't swivel and it's heavy enough to be slightly hard to steer. Of course, our house has quite a few tight turns and narrow hallways, so YMMV.

We live in a warm, sunny climate and I absolutely love the one with a cover. We have this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00206PR1E/ref=oh_o05_s00_i00_details

I got it for $99 from Amazon on December 12 of last year when the deals were fast and furious. I was also considering the one with all terrain wheels but in the end the sun protection won out.

I'm doing a little more research and it looks like you can get a canopy that fits any RF wagon, so that's pretty cool:
