I've been eyeing this for a long while for DD#2 and today found the best price I've seen.

And if you're inclined to chase a deal, something else worth noting is that Kirby's Epic Yarn is $7.99 online but not available online or for instore pickup, so it might be a wild goose chase in finding it and getting a price match.

My store had the Flingsmash with Motion plus control for $49.99 and would not price match the online price. After speaking with customer service they are not required to price match if its a bundle which they are claiming it is. Apparently some posters on SD bought lots of them (one poster bought 30) to resell prior to the deal going dead online.

I was able to get the Kirby game shipped (free shipping) before it went out of stock.

I was able to place an order online for instore pickup for both Kirby and Flingsmash at $7.99. Wonder if I am going to get turned away when I show up?

I can't stomach the greed on those deal sites. I visit slickdeals, but have completely abandoned fatwallet. It's disgusting.

I wouldn't think so.

By the time I got to the deal it was dead online. It shows it as sold out and it says shipping is not available and store pick up is not available. The only option I had was to check which stores in my area had it in stock. My store did and I happened to be out so I check it out.

Apparently other stores are price adjusting and matching the online price...I am refering to those who, like myself, could not even order on line.

I am sure if you ordered ship to store you should be fine :)

ETA: It now says sold out, hopefully I get it!

ETA again: It says sold out on the main screen but it allows you to add it on the product sceen. I did that and my order went through a few minutes ago.

Thanks very much OP! DS mostly likes Sonic and Mario games but I had heard some great things about this and since I've (lost) temporarily misplaced the Wii game I was going to give him for the holidays, this'll be great!

ETA: It was Kirby I bought. It's really bad that I'm tempted to by Nickelodeon Fit for that price but we already have it! I was thinking about reselling, etc.

I just got Kirby and Nick Fit, thank you SO MUCH for posting this! I also purchased the Flingsmash, as it was available at a store pretty far from me. The e-mail says that it is checking inventory at that store. Hopefully they will have it. DS1 is getting a Wii for Christmas and we need some games to go with it.

ETA: Just got confirmation that the store has Flingsmash in stock and is ready to be picked up. Yay!

what is the Nick fit? do you need a board or something else to play it?

You don't need anything special to play the Fit game, it just uses the wii remote. It's a game that has kids actively doing things to play...basically they get exercise without even realizing it!

ETA: If you have a wii balance board, it will work with this game, but you don't need it to play.

Awesome deal on all of these! I was able to do store pick up for Epic Yarn and Flingsmash, hopefully the local store actually has them in stock. I had to get Nick Fit shipped though.

Can't believe the price on Flingsmash since it comes with a controller!

If you do an instore pickup, they will email you when it's ready. If you get that email it means that have actually pulled the item off the floor or from the stockroom for you and they do in fact have it.

My brother is letting us borrow his Wii since he doesn't use it anymore, but since he's a single guy he doesn't have any kid friendly games. I think my girls (3 and 5) would love the Nick Fit game, would the others be too hard for them? Looking for some games they can play with daddy when I work in the evenings so that they are doing something together rather than just watching movies.

Thanks, OP, for posting this! I ordered the Fit program but can anyone tell me if it would be too young for my boys--ages 6 and 8? If so, I'll return it.

I also was very happy that I got Kirby Yarn and Flingsmash (which we already have but I want it for the remote). I ordered it shortly after you posted this deal here and was able to pick them up at my local store yesterday. Their in-store price was $50 for Kirby Yarn so $8 was a GREAT deal!
