My Sears in South Jersey store has all their toys 50% off and BOGO b/c they're discontinuing their toy section, as are a lot of other Philadelphia area stores. I scored on a ton of Thomas stuff for my son at dirt cheap prices!! Worth checking out at your Sears as well.

Wooden Thomas was picked over at my local store, but I scored a Kenmore toy coffee maker and toaster for DS2. We had a wooden coffee maker (kidkraft) that broke when one of my older kids stood on it years ago, and our old target toaster is broken. So DS2 is getting both for 7.xx total.

I also got a little Fancy Nancy ballet set for DD. It has a little FN figure, and then a ballet bar, thing to make Nancy twirl, and a piano. LIke this set: http://www.amazon.com/Fancy-Nancy-Ballet-Studio-Playset/dp/B00333M0KE/ref=dp_cp_ob_t_title_1 They also had the FN bedroom set http://www.amazon.com/Fancy-Nancy-Mini-Bedroom-Playset/dp/B0028RY40A/ref=pd_sim_t_1 but the review on that didn't sound too encouraging. It was 10 bucks, and then I got my niece a free barbie swimming pool/slide to go with her other gifts from us. http://www.amazon.com/Mattel-R4206-Barbie-Glam-Pool/dp/B002MUANJY/ref=sr_1_1?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1324332431&sr=1-1 . I didn't purchase any but they also had the bigger FN dolls listed as 20-30 bucks or so before the half off *and* BOGO. They had a Schylling drum and a Schylling jack in the box.

They had a lot of Schleich animals left at my local store (some big sets and then individual animals), some Littlest Pet Shop, Nerf stuff (Maverick and then one of the small guns and a basketball hoop), a Thomas turntable and a few bridges and then one or two individual wooden trains (nothing I really wanted or needed). They had some Barbies, Kenmore Vacuum, some Melissa and Doug craft stuff, wooden doll sets, the lacing shoes, etc.

I picked up 4 things for under $20.

OP-thanks for the tip. I wouldn't have popped in there otherwise.

Anyone know if Sears carries the Calico critters big houses?

DD wants one and was wondering if it is worth hunting it down if they don't even sell it in the first place...

For info, I was traveling for work yesterday and passed by a few stores along the way:

Willowbrook Mall - Wayne, NJ - has tons of schleich aminals and most of the toys are gone and just odds &ends, but there are some Fancy Nancy items, M&D shoe tying toys, Disney princess dress up, V-Tech cartridges...

Quakerbridge Mall - Princeton, NJ - Lots! There is probably still about 60% of the toys still there. Most everything that people have listed, but not too much Thomas stuff

Oxford Mall - Langhorne, PA - not much left, but there was a bunch of Thomas stuff

Thanks OP!

Sears in Plantation, FL did not have 50%...just BOGO but there was only one aisle of toys and nothing really that caught my eye. I was hoping to score the coffeemaker and toaster for DS's new kitchen from Santa.

I think Penney's online had a set of 3 kitchen appliances for 14.xx. I am not sure if they have it in store. I'll see if I can find it. I was looking for something else last night and remember seeing it somewhere (that's terribly helpful, huh?).

Be right back.
