OK, I'm stuck. DD1 has a fabulous stocking; there's almost too much stuff in it. DD2, OTOH, has a big holiday gift but very little in her stocking - so far just Hanna mocs, a packet of Pipsqueaks markers and a small M&D artist notepad to go with it.

Any tips for what to get a 19 month old at short notice - ideally, that can be shipped via amazon Prime? I wanted to get her a Boon rubber duck but the singles aren't Prime shippable right now. I would love something that would help us out on a looooong plane journey if possible! Many thanks for recommendations!

Oh, she also needs hair clippies - will any Etsy sellers get them to us in time for the weekend? Thanks!

OK, I answered my own question - I ordered a set of clippies in the nick of time (I hope) from this Etsy seller, who says that ordered placed by today will be fulfilled in time for Christmas. https://www.facebook.com/moosiescaboose
I've linked to her FB page because it includes a 10% off code for holiday orders in case anyone else is interested.

And I will try and pick up a couple of Little People cars at Target - and clementines at the grocery store!

Bubbles are a great idea - she loves these. And I have some Hanna socks I can add to the stocking. I am considering these cars (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003U8XZ06/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER) as well - I have no idea how big they are, but they look like cute stocking stuffers! If anyone has them, do you know if they press down to go? Thanks!

They are pretty small but bigger then a matchbox car. They do not push down and go. You can buy them individually for $2.99 at Target.

My 22 month old is enthrawled with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. She LOVES them. I do Christmas ornaments for each child as a stocking stuffer that is based on what they like that year. Last year my (then) 4 year old was TOTALLY into Scooby Doo, so I got her a Scooby Doo Christmas ornament and I got my almost 1 year old a first Christmas baby ornament. This year the (now) 5 year old is getting a Penguin ornament (since she's ALL about penguins) and my almost 2 year old is getting a Mickey Mouse ornament.

The other stocking stuffers are:
- I found a Mickey Mouse sippy cup at target
- She is getting the Little People Zoo Talkers, so I got extra animals that will be in her stocking (3-4 of them). The rest she will get on her birthday in Feb.
- A couple of Mickey Mouse movies to go in the car for our long car rides when visiting family. But I'm not a stickler about screen time like most mammas on here.
- A small Minnie Mouse figurine
- Some board books
- Some of the Fisher Price Little People wheelie cars. But I may keep those for her birthday, as I got her the Stand N Play rampway for her birthday.
- some sort of sweet/chocolate
- some cuties or clementines

Both kids are also getting other gifts from Santa that will be unwrapped and displayed for when they wake up. For my DD2 it will be a baby stroller, new baby doll, some playdoh (for both girls), and some Melissa and Dough puzzles.

DS2 (almost 21 months) is getting a few practical things like socks and CA baby wash. I got him one of those silly wind up toys. We were visiting friends recently and he was enamored with a few windup toys they have. He is getting a paint with water book (so are the other kids), some new triangular crayons, a small gertie ball. A new book. An ornament if I can find one. A piece of chocolate. Toothbrush.

The older 2 have great stockings, but DS2's is kinda meh. He'll have fun though.

My DD is about the same age as yours and this is what she is getting in her stocking:

- Hanna Mocs
- A pair of Elmo socks
- 3 books in the "If you give a mouse a cookie..." set
- a little purse that is shaped like an owl
- Tooth paste and a new tooth brush
- A small wooden toy bull dozer
- A new hair brush
- Boogie wipes
- Raisins
- A coloring book with those markers that you fill with water and then they only make marks on the coloring book (not sure what those are called)
- A little baby doll "diaper bag" with various baby toiletries

I'm sure there are other things too (MIL is the primary stocking filler and I don't know everything that she bought), but that is what I could think of off the top of my head.

DD is 19 months. She is getting: little boxes of Golfish crackers (found in the dollar section of Target). Gerber yogurt puffs (she loves those). Some cute tights, perhaps some cute hair bows if I can find some this week. Oh, I should probably throw in some new pacifiers, too.

Nothing exciting, but she's not going to remember any of it anyway.

yeah, but in our case, big sister is getting a bunch of things - and always does - and i think it's important for her to see that santa is getting things for her sister too! as it is, dd1 is the only one who gets presents from anyone other than us - even the grandparents and aunts didn't buy poor dd2 a first birthday gift! so i like to level the playing field a little when i can.;)
