$1 Zhu Zhu Pets at CVS

I just came back from our CVS (in NJ) and they had the Zhu Zhu pets on sale for $1 (originally $9.99 and looks like it's even more expensive on Amazon). I don't really know much about Zhu Zhu pets but that's what my son's friends are getting for christmas :)

Now am thinking of giving it to my 18 month daughter's friends at day care as well. The box says not for children under 3 but I don't see any danger with playing with it. Is it inappropriate to give to 18 month olds?

I think if the wheels are running and you touch it (put it on your leg or something) it may hurt. I haven’t tried it, but that’s what I’ve heard.

I know someone who works in a NJ CVS and according to her, they can't seem to sell \Zhu ZHu pets so they have to heavily discount them to get them out of their stores!
