I ordered at around the same time. One out of my 4 orders was cancelled. The weird thing was that they cancelled the first one that I ordered. My confirmation emails came through without any order.

They apparently didn't cancel my order. I never received a confirmation email, but the basket was just delivered at my door. It's cute and perfect to give to a lady at work tomorrow!

I still haven't received a PP refund. Obviously the $2 and change isn't a big deal, but the principle has me pissed off. I have sent and received several emails. TODAY I received an order confirmation email (for an order that I placed on 12/20 to be delivered 12/23)!

This was AFTER I got a cancellation email.

So far no gift basket and no money.

I called them and asked for my money back and was told that PP refunds could take several days or weeks to process, and that it was PPs fault. Which is utter crap, because friends and I swap clothes and PP money all of the time, and refunds are instant when I overpay or they overpay and we refund eachother.

I knew this deal was screaming and likely too good to be true, but DO NOT let them keep your money for free. They are shady.

I know! I made two separate purchases so I had to file two separate $2.50 claims. :rolleyes: Plus I am not a fan of just throwing money away.

Did you notice they bypass the "resolution" part and go straight to "elevating to a claim"? Must be some option 1800baskets chose.

I still have not received a refund despite repeated calls and emails. I have escalated to a pp claim, filed a report with the BBB, and am posting poor reviews of your company all over the internet. Hope that keeping my $2 and change was worth the bad press and headaches you will receive.

Are you all having problems getting a refund throuh Paypal? I used a credit card and never saw anything - charge or refund - on my statement so it's as if the whole thing never happened as far as I can tell.

Keep on them. I finally got my $2.49 refunded today. I emailed customer service, and got a generic response (your credit card will be refunded, blah, blah), and I replied that I had used paypal. No response, so I escalated my claim via PayPal and finally got the resolution today.

Disgusting. I wonder how many people didn't feel like fighting for $2.49. The company likely walked away with thousands of dollars. I will never, EVER shop there again.
