Our 35 ish inch big boxy 7 year old TV just bit the dust, and we cant afford to replace it the same week Santa got a hold of our bank account LOL... but i need to watch for deals and sales, so i know its a good time of year to do so... please help!!! any good deals out there right now??

Check out TigerDirect.com. We recently bought a Vizio 42" LCD HDTV-1080p Wi-Fi, refurbished for $399.99. LOVE it! Went through FatWallet.com and the rebate paid for the shipping.

There are a million great deals out there right now (or so it seems ;)), especially for 32"-40" HDTVs. Just do a search for "HDTV" on Slickdeals. There seem to be about 5 new ones posted per day. You can likely find a 32" for $220ish and a 40" for about $330.

I just bought a 40", so I've been watching the prices pretty closely for weeks now.

I'm doomed, Dh wants 60"... we are thinking of snagging a deal at BJ's right now, he says it seems too good to be true, but i am not sure we want to make that jump.... or, I don't, i know he does LOL!! thank God for I didn't spend my Christmas checks from my Grandpa yet LOL!!!
