I bought a black corduroy skirt from a Title 9 warehouse sale a while back. It is kind of A-line and knee length (can't find a pic on their website). I'd like to wear it to work with a sweater, but no clue what shoes to wear. (business casual office).

Do I need tall boots to wear with it? Any other options?

oh yeah - if I do get tall boots, do I have to wear tights? (cold isn't really an issue)

I haven't actually seen the skirt, but...

I think tall boots and tights would be a nice look, but a stacked loafer could be cute
something like this

I live in the south where it's still 70+ degrees so I would wear something like this

oh did you buy the Target Missoni pumps? Those might work too

Ankle booties would be perfect too, with or without tights.

I recently saw these on a style blog and ordered them...they are well made( especially for Payless shoes) and look cool.

ooh - thanks for the ideas. I like those Missoni pumps, but I think the skirt is more casual than that.

Thanks!

i have this skirt from jcrew (in 3 colors) and i planned to wear it with tights and boots...BUT, it gets stuck on the tights when i walk. so i guess i need a slip? but lately i have been wearing them with tall boots and knee socks or legwarmers, that just peek out at the top of the boot. and it feels SO much better under the skirt then the tights did.

I'd do boots with tights or stacked loafer.

My first thought was tall boots, with or without tights. But pumps would also work.
