I have over $100 to spend on FSA products! I can't remember which safe physical sunblocks were recommended this year. I used CA baby this summer but was hoping for something more affordable. any thoughts?

I just got back from Mexico with the kids. We tried all sorts of sunscreens there. We needed a lot, so I tried all kinds. My 2 favorites are:

Badger (but a little greasy)
and
Kidsport Spray

My kids liked Kidsport Spray best because it wasn't cold like the pressurized sprays. My husband liked it best too because it wasn't greasy. He hates applying sunscreen because it leaves grease all over his phone, computer, etc.

Not a fan of CA Baby, but for myself I love Cellex C SPF 30, it is about $30. For the kids I really like Coppertone Baby natural (I can't remember the name), and No More Tears Baby Mineral Sunblock SPF 40. For a spray Target's Up & Up SPF 30 spray is great.

We like Badger for lotion and CA Baby for stick.

Purple Prairie and Blue Lizard Sensitive Sunscreen in our household. Purple Prairie is thicker and less runny. Blue Lizard Sensitive is thinner and more runny.

Purple Prairie - love the sunsticks too

for sticks we really liked the Neutrogena pure and free baby. We tried the lotion and everyone liked it and then the ratings weren't as good as I wanted so I didn't re-buy. For lotion most recently we used the J&J no more tears mineral one and it was alright. we've used CA baby in the past and the boys hate the thickness of it. I was thinking of trying the Kunsport spray someone linked. I considered Purple Prairie last summer and then it was sold out.

we've used UV naturals and while it works ... it is SUPER greasy. Blue Lizard goes on nicely but it's a bummer that it has all the parabens in it.

Here is a good list!

For the kids we pretty much stick with Neutrogena Pure and Free Baby. I don't care that they look ghostly:p For myself though I use Neutrogena Dry touch spf 45 with the Avobenzene. the oxides make me break out terribly.

We also liked All Terrain Kid Sport spray last summer. The spray is really easy to apply and I liked that we were all inhaling little aerosolized sunscreen during application.

I also liked the Purple Prairie lotion and stick and both seemed to last a bit longer while swimming than the Kid Sport.

I tried a bottle of Think Baby as well but it was hard to rub in and I really didn't care for the scent.

Thank you! I had forgotten about the All terrain spray. It was OOS last time I needed sunblock, so I ended up buying CA baby. I decided to go with it this time, plus two first aid kits and a bunch of waterproof bandaids, since we go through those at lightning speed!
