Staying Offsite-Can You Leave The Park After Lunch And Return In the Late Afternoon

Totally newbie question. We are staying at one of the Vistanas, and we know we will leave the park (Magic Kingdom) around lunch time. Ticket prices are so high, I am just trying to figure out if it's feasible or if we are even able to return to the park in the pm on the same ticket.

Yes. We normally take a late afternoon/dinner break and then head back for fireworks. Enjoy your trip!

We did it last year--left the park after lunch and went back to the hotel for naps. We returned to the park around 5, had dinner there, and stayed until the fireworks.

Just be advised that if your hotel provides transport via bus to and from the park, you need to look into the pick-up/drop-off times and exactly how long it takes to travel. We found that the bus made multiple stops and it took much longer than we had anticipated.

If you have a car, your parking pass at the park includes in/out privileges and covers you at any of the parks for the whole day. But your ticket will let you out and back in, though it has to be the same park unless you have a park hopper ticket.
