With DD, I had a huge (IMO) Amy Michelle bag which had been a gift and a little Eddie Bauer bag from BRU which was a little larger than a lunch box. We never took the big bag anywhere, and made due realtively well with the really small bag. Sometimes, though, it was too small.

I am going to get a new bag for this baby, and want something in the medium range for size- definitely a little bigger than what we used last time. I was looking at the Skip Hop Duo and Dash....both seem about the right size. I am comfortable at that price point too. I looked at some of the JJBs, but I thought they were $$ for me and I found all the choices overwhelming (I not a bag person...does it show?).

Any thoughts on the SH's or any other suggestions that I should look at?

DD will be 4 when the baby comes, and we rarely need to bring along stuff for her for most of our outings.

Everyone here seems to love the Versa, but I cannot imagine carrying a bag with a 17" dimension!

TIA!

It isn't exciting but the LE Little Tripper was really good for me.

I am a minimalist when it comes to diaper bags. I'd rather have all the "what if?" back up stuff in a bigger bag in the car and have the basics with me.

I haven't tried it yet but this bag has gotten some love here and is on my wishlist:

You might also try just shopping for a regular bag you love. Throw in a changing pad and some diapers and you're set.
