how to make ugg type boots water resistant and keep clean?

I have a new pair of bearpaw boots. (Something like uggs). I heard people spray something to make it water/snow resistant ? How to do that? Also how do you guys take care of boots and keep them looking like new? Ty

When I bought my UGG boots online, I was able to buy a spray bottle of water-proofer, also some cleaner and a brush. I would look online or in a shoe store that sells UGGS.

You just set your boots on some old newspaper, spray them well (doesn't change the color at all once dry), leave to dry (takes less than a day), and you're good to go!

I like the spray you can get in the shoe department at Walmart just as well as the official UGG spray. It's with the shoe polish. You spray and dry two times. Spend a little extra time at the seams. Spray outdoors. Don't hold the can too close to the boots while you spray or it will leave wet spots.
