I have a dumb question from a native Floridian...when do ppl wear rubber boots? I get it, that you put them on to go in snow or rain. But I always picture them as being really hot to wear so it seems like you wouldn't want to wear them to go out to run an errand or w/e because you'd be inside part of that time.
I have the same question about rubber rain boots for toddlers. So cute- but I don't get it. Do kids wear these the entire time they're out? Do you bring extra shoes and change them?

I know that they're supposed to have more room in the calf area to fit in pants etc, but does anyone w/ these actually have larger calves? I do not have skinny legs and wonder if they would be too tight to tuck in anything.

I think they have an extended calf, but only a few stores carry it. That is what I would have to get. I can get the regular boots on, but not with jeans tucked in. There is also a shorter version that I can easily get on with jeans tucked in.
