Sonicare Essence toothbrushes on clearance at Target for $19.98

My Target had about 8 of these in an endcap clearance section today. Normally $39.99. I picked up 2 of them-- one for me and one for DS1 (he has his own bathroom so we couldn't share).

Looks just like this one, but the model number is slightly different.

I bought this one at Walgreen's. I was really disappointed, though, because it doesn't have the 30-second quadrant timing. :-(

Really? Mine do. It says right on the box-- "Sonicare Essence with Quadpacer."

Oh, but then there's a separate red bubble that says "Target Exclusives: Includes 2-minute timer."

So I guess the Essence brushes not sold at Target don't have the Quadpacer timer. I'd return yours and re-buy it at Target then.

At least IME, the quadpacer thing dies pretty early. We've had many Sonicare brushes over the years, and we are on #3 where the quadpacer stoped working after a few months. So I wouldn't let that be a deal-breaker.

We are currently boycotting Sonicare because they denied my perfectly legitimate rebate form. I think I will punish them with my lack of funds for another year or two, :hysterical:, then go back to the dark side.

I was trying to find a rebate form Jo, but the one posted on their website expired on 12/31/11. Grrrr. Did you buy the toothbrush with a coupon and that's why they denied it? I noticed that the form said it couldn't be combined with other offers.

I got one at WalMart with coupon and rebate, and it also does not have the quadrant timer. Our old Sonicare did so I assumed it was standard. The new one does have the 2 minute timer.

The Quadtimer seems to be a Target exclusive now. Both of mine, bought at Target, have it.

I may have to run by Target tomorrow too to see if there are any left. I am on my 2nd Sonicare but I had my first one for years. Both have had the quad pacer. I wouldn't want one without it.

THANK YOU!!!! I just went to my Target, and they had plenty left. Only they weren't marked as clearance. You had to look for the red bow in the corner, signifying it was holiday packaging. It also had a $5 off coupon for buying brush heads. I planned to use the coupon and buy Sonicare brush heads. At the last moment I changed my mind to Target brand, but forgot, and handed that coupon to the cashier along with my $10 off coupon. It went through and I realized my mistake after checkout. So I got the toothbrush for $5!!

Can someone post the #'s from their receipt so I can check another Target to see if they have it? They didn't have it at the store I went to today.

BTW there were Sonicare coupons in multiple Sunday paper inserts. I didn't find one in last Sundays paper but I found one from another week.
