Several styles of the Dansko sandals are on sale. A few are $55, normally $115. I have the Sapphires from last summer and love them. I just bought the Sara last night and it arrived this afternoon--love Prime!

The Sapphires are so cute - how does the width run? I have a narrow and flat foot that slides forward in sandals so I usually have to have some sort of thong... have never tried Danskos IRL so don't know how they'd work.

Also check out 6pm.com. They also have danskos on sale at 40 percent off. Sorry can't post a link just right now. Similiar pricing and they have different styles and colors offered from amazon.

How does the sizing run on these? I normally wear a 10, but I am concerned that the 9.5-10's might be too small.

Thanks OP! I just ordered the Sara and Sapphire in black. I've never worn Dansko before but I love my Dansko knock-off clogs from LE so crossing my fingers these fit and are just as comfy on my picky feet. I can't wear heels so I feel like the Sara's are the closest thing to a heel I can wear.

The Sigrids are nice, too. Looks like only the Java color is $55. I'm going to wait till my Sara and Sapphire order comes, if they work out I will order the Sigrids, too.

Reposting my question, hoping someone can tell me how Dansko runs in terms of width? I have a narrow and flat foot that slides forward in shoes/sandals so for sandals I usually have to have some sort of thong. I thought the Sapphires look really cute but have never tried Danskos IRL...

Check the prices on Endless too. I just ordered the Sara's from there. It was $62 in black but with 10% cashback from Mr. Rebates, its almost the same as Amazon's price ($55), plus free returns if they don't fit.

Why don't you post in Momwear where more posters will see your question? I'm trying Danskos for the first time here, so I have no idea.

Really? Is it for anything? I knew there was free returns for clothing, but didn't think so for shoes.

This would be great but I have prime (as a guest) and have never seen a free return shipping option on shoes, only on clothes. Is it only for primary Prime holders?

I did a live chat to find out, after reading this thread. I would suggest others to do the same and save a copy of the conversation.

Minnifer, I was able to tighten the buckle so for me it fits perfectly. However, I would say that this shoe is not narrow, so I'm not sure how it would work for you. I have a flat foot as well, but not narrow. I wish I could help more--sorry!!

There are free returns with amazon prime. I just chatted with a gentleman named Saurabh on Amazon and he said the same thing.... with Prime membership, they'll create a free return label if the shoes don't fit. I specified my Prime is free via Amazon Mom and that was not a problem. This makes me tempted to try that Tushiwhatever shoe deal too!

If you can find your size, check out the Amazon warehouse shoes. I would guess they are returns, but they are significantly cheaper and still ship with prime.

Uh oh -- I'm a nine and wear a 40, too. Do you think they'll stretch out a bit? Are you keeping yours or do they just feel too small to wear?

I got my 3 sandals just now, 2 from Amazon (Sara/Sapphire) and 1 from Endless (Sigrid). Love them! My favorite is the Sigrid, thanks to Momit for mentioning them. It's so stylish, I only wish they had the black in my size.

I'm a 6.5 W and got the 37's (6.5-7) and I agree that I think the footbed runs smaller like a 6.5 as it is a perfect fit in length for me. The rest of the shoe is a little big so that fits more like a sz 7. I had to tighten the strap all the way (and may have to punch in a hole still) and the top is a little loose. I would say it will work for someone with average to high instep. Overall the fit works fine for me, the footbed is contoured the way I like, it's cushy, and gives me that extra height I need.

Thanks OP! I really needed some nicer sandals like these and what a great price. Now off to hunt for Sigrids in black somewhere.

ETA: I found the black Sigrid in 37 at Zappos (full price). Does anyone know if they do a price match and if so, does the item have to be in stock/be the same color?

It's the footbed that is too small for me. I might exchange for the next size up. I'm a prime member, so I'm hoping it'll be free.

Please let us know if they give you any problems. I asked on both text and email -- and was told returns on shoes were free -- but the CS rep I talked with did not make me particularly confident in his grasp on the nuances of our language. For example, in response to my simple inquiry he said "I'm so sorry for this inconvenience' (?!) and 'see you soon!!' (lol).

I'm a prime member, and when I bought a pair of FitFlop boots this past fall that were a hair too small, they charged back everything but $5 to my card, saying it was some kind of convenience fee or nonreturnable something. I didn't have the energy to fight it, but maybe others will have better luck than I.

My Saras arrived. Normally I wear a 9.5. I got the 40 and they are a bit long. The heel strap seems farther from my heel than it should, but I'm trying to cinch it down. With socks it's cozy, but I wonder how that'll feel walking on bare skin. Keeping them for now.

Hmm...would you mind measuring the footbed? I've never worn a 9.5, so I'm curious to see if the footbed lengths match...I'll measure mine when I get home.

I'll report back what I hear from amazon.

If you use their printed return label, the return fee as stated on their website is $3.99 plus $0.99 per item, so the $5 deduction sounds right. It also says each order has to be returned separately.

Another PP says via chat/email that return shipping is free for prime members (which would be awesome!) but I do not see that written anywhere on their website. I'm a leary about trusting what CS says as I had a "miscommunication" with CS at Target.com and they seem to use the same third party CS service.

Love to hear if anyone had a successful free return shipping on shoes.

I got my Saras in Java today and I LOVE THEM!!! They fit perfectly (I am a 9 and ordered 40) and are so comfy and exactly what I need for next summer. I love that they don't cover too much of my foot and are somewhat "strappy," if you can even call any Danskos that. :) Thank you, OP!!!

I love my Sara's, too. I first got it in Black and just ordered the Java as well. Can't wait to wear it this spring/summer. It's my first "heel" shoes in decades.

I never knew Dansko made anything other than the clunky clogs but these sandals feel very light and feminine and are just as comfy. Super big huge thanks to OP.

How do the saras run width wise? How much room is there to adjust? I have wide-ish feet and haven't worn danskos in quite a while.

I was worried about the width but these are great for my foot size. I don't have narrow feet, but I wouldn't say they're wide, either -- the front part of my foot sometimes needs more room than narrower shoes allow, and I have a high arch. I didn't need to adjust them at all when I put on the Saras.

I can't wait to get mine! I did order on the higher end of my normal size range, because it seems like my feet must swell a little in the summer or something, since sometimes sandals that seem to fit just right will feel tight by the end of the day.

Woohoo! That's a great score! Looks like the prices on most of the Dansko sandals are back up at both Amazon and Endless.

I didn't realize it was a temporary price drop, glad I got mine when I did.
