Help with shoes for work party

We are going to DH's annual work party at the Ritz this weekend. Attire is semi-formal. I have an Ann Taylor black dress that I am going to wear. You can't really tell from the picture, but it drapes down a bit at the neckline and gathers up a bit at the right waistline. Otherwise it's just a basic little black dress - poly/rayon with a touch of spandex. We have gone to a few of these parties and while there will be others more dressed up there will also be many that are more dressed down, so I always go with a black dress (because it's easy!) and I feel appropriately dressed. Anyway, I don't know what to do about shoes and hose/no hose. I don't have anything so I am going to have to buy something. If it matters, the temp is supposed to be in the 30s that night. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have a dress like that. I usually wear a red peep toe with it. Kind of like this:

Another vote for red peep-toe pumps. You can also wear it with silver or even boring black pumps/sandals. This dress also calls for some accessories, so the simpler the shoes, the bolder the accessories.
