What is wrong with DD?

DD1 is 33 months. Last night, and on Friday night, she was up multiple times, screaming. When we go in there, she says she wants to play and she is not tired. Last night she was up from 2:30 until 7 am. She never fell back asleep.

She does take a nap, about 2 hours. Friday's nap was from 1-3 and yesterday she napped from 1:30-3:30. bedtime is 7:45/8 and she goes to bed easily.

Turns out she has an ear infection. I talked to the nurse at the peds office and she recommended that I bring her in. She started abx tonight and I gave her some Motrin before bed.

Poor kiddo. She also refused her nap today so she was up for 17 hours straight when she went to bed tonight. Fingers crossed that she gets a good night sleep tonight!

Glad you figured it out. She probably wanted to play because sitting upright took off the pressure and made her ear feel better.
