Convertible Car Seat for Gma's Car

I need an extra convertible car seat for grandma's car. My niece who is 3 years old will be traveling in it on average once per week for 2 hours or so. I currently have Britax for my car and for DH's car. Should I stay with Britax or choose something less expensive? I don't see real deals right now.

Is your niece the only rider? At 3, I'd get an Evenflo maestro - not a convertible seat.

My 2 year old son and my 3 year old niece will be driving in the car with my mother. My mother already has a Britax Roundabout that my son can sit in. So I would say that only those 3 and above would sit in the second seat.

Good luck. The Maestro is a nice seat. So light and inexpensive!
