Graco snugride bases

Does anyone know if you can use a snugride 35 on a regular snugride base?
I am traveling to my hometown and my friend has an extra base she can give my parents but I am not sure it will work

No, the 35 will not work on the original base.

It's somewhat convoluted, but the SafeSeat1, SR32 and SR35 can all use the SS1/32/35 base. You just have to follow the lowest weight limit between the seat and base, so a SS1 on a 35 base can only go to 30 lbs (limit on the SS1) and a 35 on a SS1 base can also only go to 30 (limit on the base).

The SR30 can use the 30 base or the SS1/32/35 base up to 30 lbs, but that's the only seat that can be used on the 30 base.

The 22 (aka original) can only use the original/22 base.

Any of the seats can be installed baseless, though. :)
