Woo-Hoo! I just got an email from Hanna Andersson that they are hiring for their new outlet store at the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets. No opening date is listed, but it says they are getting the new store ready for opening.

Great news!

I keep hoping that they will open one in the new Merrimack, NH outlets... I'd love a Tax free Hanna outlet.

I got the email also. I emailed them back and asked when the store was opening. I will keep you posted if they respond!

Now I don't need to feel badly that I haven't driven to Kittery to check out the outlet deals. And I don't have the time to do the phone ordering (save catalogs) when there are good sales.

Yeah!

Re: Tax-free Hanna outlet-- Massachusetts has no sales tax on clothing items that costs less than $175 (per item) so unless you are buying toys or other non-clothes items, the Wrentham store is essentially tax-free.

Thanks so much for posting! Very very cool. I live 8 minutes from the outlets so it was my go-to shopping for awhile although I haven't been in ages (since Target is also about 8 minutes :)).

Oh no. I have never gotten into the phone ordering, but wrentham is about an hour and fifteen minutes away and 20 minutes from my sister's house...

I was JUST coming to post this! I emailed them to suggest opening a HA outlet in Wrentham years ago... and now I rarely shop Hanna anymore. Maybe that's going to change, LOL!

I was coming to see if anyone else had already posted it, LOL!

I just moved to Boston, which direction is this place and how long would it take to get there, approximately?

Depends on where you are specifically but say about 45 min, West on the Mass Pike (Rt 90) to 495 South to exit 15. Follow the masses. :wink2:

Oh man, it figures! As soon as we are getting ready to leave New England!!! I always told DH that the only thing that would make Wrentham perfect in my book would be a HA outlet. That was pretty much the only reason I'd ever drive to Kittery.

Hey, SF Bay Area mamas, we need to beg HA to open an outlet in Gilroy, LOL!

Can someone forward their email about hiring to me? I did not get it, but my mom is looking for a job and would be interested in this. TIA!

Thanks so much! So, is this place an actual outlet mall or is it one of those that all the stores are selling items produced just for outlet malls? I see it is a Simon property so I'm guessing the latter.

Mostly the latter. It is huge and usually packed.

:yeahthat:

If you can avoid it NEVER go on a weekend or holiday. And if you have to, go as late in the day as possible.

Weekdays it's pretty much dead. Although even when it's crazy busy it's usually only the getting off the exit and parking. The stores themselves aren't so bad because they're so spread out. There are minimal places to eat though so if you're planning on an all day outing, plan accordingly!

Cool, but still wish they'd put one in SoCal somewhere, but SoCal isn't a good market for Hanna undortunately. My brother lives in Portland so hopefully we'll go up there this summer around EOS time in June. Honestly though sometimes I have more fun perusing EBay for stuff.

I would cry (happy tears!) if one opened in Merrimack, NH. It's 10 mins from my house. I keep reading the outlet articles. No mention yet. :(

:yeahthat:

I did receive an invitation to fill out a questionnaire about them opening another retail store in Orange County, but no mention of an outlet store anytime soon. I would be so thrilled if an outlet store opened at any of the many outlet malls in SoCal -- even if it was 1.5-2 hours away.
