Pine furniture from Pottery Barn

Does anyone have any furniture with a "wax pine finish" from PB? How does it hold up? I'd love any feedback - thanks!

I have pine furniture from Ethan Allen. Pine is a very soft wood, prone to scratches and nicks. I wish someone had told me before I purchased pine bedroom furniture for 3 boys. I don't have experience with pine furniture from Pottery Barn, but I would think it would be similar.

I hate every.single.piece. of pine furniture in my house. If I didn't have kids, it would be fine. It's too soft to handle bumps and bashes.

I honestly don't know if "wax pine finish" is the same as pine wood.
