What do you reach for time and time again? That item you either pined for and finally got, or that you happened upon and fell in love with? Or maybe it's something that you don't get a chance to wear often but when you do you feel like a million bucks?

So I guess this is sort of a spin off of the BBB fav thread, but this can be outside of the BBB too.

For me I think it would be my Frye Dorado riding boots. http://www.zappos.com/frye-dorado-riding-dark-brown-leather
Feel like a million bucks plus reaching for them all the time.
I have worn them all the time for the past two seasons. Also my AG jeans. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003TO50G8/ref=oh_o00_s00_i02_details
Reach for them ALL the time. Nor necessarily super special but they are my favorite pair of jeans.

My all time faves are:

Salvatore Ferragamo riding boots (they look amazing with almost everything):

Vince hooded sweater but in heath:

Max Mara funnel neck wool coat:

I've had all of these for over 5 years (bought them before DS1 was born) and they still get tons of use and look fantastic after tons of abuse.

My recent faves are:
-My Frye Dorado boots :)
-Free People runaway love cardigan (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/free-people-runaway-love-cardigan/3198977?origin=keywordsearch&resultback=1725)
-Boden shimmering wool coat

They just make me feel really put together and special whenever I wear them.

My long time faves are:
-a pair of green and cobalt blue velvet pumps that I bought at Pied-Ã*-terre when I was studying in London
-a Coach Helen's legacy bag which I bought myself as a reward for finishing my first MA
-a vintage 60's style cashmere/wool cardigan liberally embellished with gold sequins that was my Grandma's. It's special because it belonged to my Grandma, but also because it's one eye-catching piece! I've worn it for many formal occasions.

Love that Vince hoodie, A!

The fact that I can't really answer this is exactly WHY I'm so over budget for the season. I had just let my wardrobe fall into such a major state of disrepair during the infertility/pregnancy/baby phase of my life... Infertility treatments caused me to gain forty pounds in six weeks and I've still never returned to my post first child (no IF with him, but I'm realistic that what I weighed after him is a more realistic goal than before him) weight, though I'm finally closer than ever.

So all of that to say, though I'm still working on getting several pieces that I love to just reach for over and over, I do have things that make me happy right now...

My Paige Premium Hidden Hills (no stretch) have definitely become my going out jeans, and the ones with stretch are my running around with the boys ones.

Love, love, love my Pajar riding boots in chocolate

I'm hoping to have more to add in the next six months.

I will say, overall, I no longer dread getting dressed in the morning, I have numerous things that I do like and feel good in now for work and home.

Basic tall black born boots, with a 2 inch heel. Cornerstone of the winter skirt wardrobe.

Thanks for sharing everyone! I also have a Free People cardigan that I love Montrealmum.
And I am looking forward to wearing my hunter boots this weekend in the rain. They are my latest "special" purchase. I am over budget too alexsmommy. I lost a good amount of weight in 2011, and a lot of my stuff just did not fit anymore. And I also admittedly went a little crazy with some purchases. :) I do return a lot though as I would rather have fewer "special" pieces, than a bunch of stuff that is just ok.
I do think I will be checking out the links posted above for some new ideas for myself. ;)
