Once again, A inspired me to try one of her great links. I love the look of this sweater, but I'm not sure about the color on me. Thoughts?

The sweater itself is awesome...warm, well made, comfy. It does come in grey if my size is left and I know grey works on me, but I really want to step outside of my comfort zone a bit.

I would love the lentil color on you. That particular gray seems to be washing you out a bit. I wear mine kind of loose, so I don't pull it all the way to the side. The two sides meet in the middle and then I tie it up. Like this pic:

I have an OLD iphone, it takes crappy pictures and the lighting in that bathroom is terrible.
I haven't had time to play around with how to tie, but I will use your inspiration pic!

Alexmommy, I think the sweater looks nice on you, but I really can't tell what the color is either. I would have said "gravy" rather than "lentil". :) Looking forward to a new pic!

I think the color is fine on you, but it's not as flattering on. I have the same problem with sweaters that add bulk. It's hard to find the right one, but we always *know* what looks good when we see it.

I do think just gathering it together in the front makes a big difference. It looks much better that way as opposed to crossing it over. Looks great on you arivecchi. I am considering the lentil now if it's still available. I just did not like the gray on me.
Alaina, try just bunching/gathering it. and if it just doesn't work, then no harm no foul! It's tough passing up a good deal though on someone you know can look good though, I know. :)

OP, i agree w/pp's that the sweater moght look better tied in the middle, rather than pulled over. I really can't tell what the color looks like. I have the same problem taking pics, only worse. A. Love how you do the midi skirt look and the sweater you're wearing with it. I love a good cream sweater.
