Over the counter cough suppressant?

I have had the flu since Tuesday. I think I am getting a little better, except that my cough is getting worse (this is a very common pattern for me). I really don't think I can make it to the doctor. Any suggestions for an over the counter cough suppressant? It is a dry, non-productive cough.

Delsym, as long as you don't have a sensitivity to dextromethorphan.

It works so much better than non-extended release formulations (like Robitussin DM), it doesn't even seem like the same medication.

It really helps me (or my kids) sleep/rest when we have nasty coughs... (not that it makes you sleepy, but just gives some relief).

I second the recommendation for Delsym. That and tea with lemon and dark honey usually eases the cough enough that I can sleep.
