we have a britax marathon in DH's car. He mentioned the other day he thought she had out grown the marathon. she is 3.5 years old, 33 pounds and 30-32 inches tall.

shouldn't she still fit in this? i thought i remembered thinking it went well into 56-60 pounds??

Most kids outgrow by harness height well before weight, but if she's only 32 inches tall, there's no way she's outgrown it. Why exactly does he think she's outgrown it?

Are you sure about that height? My small (just-turned-)four-year-old DD weighs about 33 lbs but is almost 40" tall. She is not even close to outgrowing her MA.

Most children do outgrow the MA by height before they hit the weight limit. But if 30-32" is correct for your DD, she may fit in a MA when she is 10!

Check your manual for specifics, but I think the seat is outgrown when the tops of the ears align with the top edge of the frame of the seat.

I need to check her height. I think I am off. He said her shoulders were squished in the seat. Maybe the straps need to be moved up?

That sounds more likely!

My very average sized kids fit in the Marathon height wise until age 5...the straps for FF need to be at or above the shoulders, sounds like the straps just need to be raised.
