Washing ski gear

Instruction say wash on cold, dry on low, iron on low - do I have to iron them? Wondering if it's needed for the waterproofing etc. I hope not, I never iron!

I wash gently on cold. Air dry. Have never ironed.

I have heard that ironing some fabric will help with the waterproofing. I would call the company and see what they say.
