Anyone here Primal/Paleo?

I am currently reading:

I have already been low carb and sugar free for about 18 months following Atkins. I really like what I am learning about the Paleo lifestyle though and am transitioning to it.

What I would love to find (and can't anywhere!) is sugar free jerky. I am used to carrrying Atkins bars with me for those days when I am constantly on the go...thought the jerky would be a good replacement.
Anyone know where to get it?

You can probably make your own. I just saw an article about making your own jerky somewhere.... but I can't remember where. You can make them by using bamboo skewers and threading thin slivers of meat through it and hanging it off of your oven rack. I remember being really impressed when I saw it. I'm sure if you google it, you could get a recipe. I live in an area with a lot of deer hunters and I know a lot of ppl make their own deer jerky, so it can't be too difficult.
