US or Standards Edition? Buying 1A so I'm not sure it really makes a difference at this level but wanted to check before I ordered.

I've used the standards edition. It contains a little more than the US.

I use the US edition and have been happy with it (we're in 1B). I would recommend getting the Intensive Practicce book too (it only goes with the US edition so while you can use it with STandards, it doesn't line up as well). The practice problems there are far more in-depth and comprehensive than in the regular textbook/workbook and I like having DS do them as we go through each chapter to make sure he REALLY gets the concepts on a deeper application level.

I believe the Standards edition follows the California State math curriculum. Some people complain that it doesn't go as in depth as the US edition since they introduce more concepts in the Standards edition.
