IME, the Simples run TTS and have no arch support. They kind of feel like Chuck Taylors to me. But super cute. I got the grey/purple combo and am really loving it.

I like that the color is sort of retro yet modern because of the shimmer. It's so easy to throw on and I like the shorter length for clambering after DS. I am also loving my Ugg Jillians (http://www.zappos.com/ugg-jillian). They are so soft and warm, and super grippy on the ice. I think they have the best soles for good traction out of any winter boot I've ever owned.

However, the combination of the Uggs with the shimmer coat nearly caused me to pass out the other day. And that's saying something with our cold weather :D I'll be saving that combo for super cold days!

I agree with the PPs that suggest sizing down in the LEC cowl neck. I am really REALLY trying not to get another color, I need a grey, black or brown shirt like a hole in the head... and I am on the edge of going overboard with cowl necks.

One more thing I'm loving, SIL has this clutch and I borrowed it once and LOVE it. She was kind enough to give me one for Christmas! (OK, it's from my brother, too, LOL.) :cheerleader1: So fun, and the colors go with everything.

I was adamantly anti for a long time because I have short, kind of thick legs, but I got a pair yesterday (technically straight leg but I can do them w/ riding boots), and even better, they were $19 at TJ Maxx! They're the Levi instantly slimming style in dark denim (I'm still not totally sure how to do the photo post, done it before but can never remember how I did it). Anyway, kind of a breakthrough for me. :boogie:

Wow, that's saying alot! I've eyed the Ugg Jillians, but not sure how they'd look w/my wide calves or if the'd even fit. Definitely an putside boot too. I love the brick orange at LE does, and would really should've gottena pair of cords in that color durong the last sale.

OK maybe I misspoke... the tag says "perfect waist / 525 straight leg." Don't know if they come in petite... the legs are a little long but if I wear them with flats I can cuff them once and they're fine. They really do fit great, at this point they may be the most comfy jeans I own. The waist really is great, they don't feel like mom jeans that come way up on my waist but I don't have a plumber butt either. A very difficult combination to find, at least for me, because I have an extremely long torso to go with my short legs so it's really hard to get the waist just right. So excited!

:yeahthat: I have two pairs--straight leg and boot cut--and they're awesome. I don't know about the petit sizes, but they also sell them at Kohls so you might want to look there.

It's not very fancy, but I've been loving my Target "sweatshirt" (http://www.target.com/p/Mossimo-Womens-Wide-Neck-Sweatshirt-Assorted-Colors/-/A-13751192) that I got after other posters recommended it. In fact, I just bought a second one so I can wear it more than once a week! It's a thick material so it's warm without the need for layers, but it doesn't look or feel like a sweatshirt. And since it's as long as a tunic I can wear it over leggings or jeggings.

Where did you find them at a good price? I need to check Marshalls and Nordstrom Rack, I guess. Has anyone seen them there lately?

I bought them online from the Lucky website on cyber Monday when they had their 30% off and FS promo. They were under $60 shipped. If you search, I think someone saw them at Marshall's for even less. I never get to these B&M stores so I keep an eye out for online bargains! I think Lucky does another 30% off sale online in March (F&F).

It's actually my $8.50 Lands' End Canvas one! Not as nice as the Splendid ones but works just fine with this I think. :)
